"If you have ever wanted to follow in the footsteps of the greatest golfers of all time, then you should look no further than the Tournament course, formerly the Tournament Players Course and site of the Shell Houston Open. Golfing greats such as David Duval, Phil Mickelson, Vijay Singh and Hal Sutton have all trod the grounds of the Tournament Course.

Winding through the village of Grogan’s Mill, the overall design of the Tournament Course promotes a feeling of tranquility, with well-integrated ponds, lakes, natural trees, and pristine landscaping.  During its life as a public course, the Tournament Course, then known as the East course vwas rated by The Houston Chronicle as the #1 public golf course in Houston, Texas.

Measuring 7,018 yards from the back tees, many consider it to be one of the best, as well as most fair, tests of a golfer’s ability in the entire Southwest, as the 17th and 18th holes are renowned for consistently ranking as 2 of the 4 most difficult holes in Texas."
